Lisburn Cricket Club is the oldest cricket club in Northern Ireland, and the third oldest in Ireland. Established in 1836, we celebrated our 175th anniversary in the 2011 season. We are situated in the centre of Wallace Park, which hosts our recently expanded ground and the Cecil Walker pavilion. The club currently runs 3 adult teams. Our first XI compete in the Northern Cricket Union Premier League having won promotion in 2018. Our 2nd XI has been one of the strongest sides in junior cricket in recent years. They won the Junior cup in 2016 and were Junior One runners up in 2017. Our 3rd XI now compete in Junior 5 previously having been league winners twice and Minor Cup winners 3 times during the last decade. In addition to the adult teams, the club pays great attention to our youth set-up. The full range of age group teams operate at the club, and youngsters from as young as 8 are welcome to come along and play cricket at the club. In the 2018 season we fielded under 15, under 13 and two under 11 teams.
