The Yarra Junction Cricket Club is based in the beautiful Yarra Valley, 55km from Melbourne with ample public transport to get you around to neighbouring suburbs such as Lilydale, Healesville, Seville.
We are very much a family orientated club with a great network of supporters, members and volunteers which makes the club what it is today, great!
We train twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the season with the 1st XI playing in the RDCA T20 big bash comp on Tuesdays near the start of the season. This year, we punched above our weight, making the finals.
At the moment we have 4 senior men’s sides, 1 senior women’s side and a thriving junior set up which all play in the Ringwood and District Cricket Association. Our 1st and 2nd XI play a mixture of one day and two day cricket with our lower grades just playing one day cricket. We hope to expand our seniors next season by adding a 5th XI.
Please be aware this is a hard wicket competition with no turf wickets.
Heading into the final rounds of the 23/24 regular season, our 1st and 4th XI sides are set to play finals.
We are looking for a top order batsmen with premier cricket experience to bolster our 1st XI side for next season. The season runs from October to March and must be available for the whole season.
