The club is seeking an Australian or Kiwi (due to Visa constraints) amateur overseas player for the upcoming season.
We are a UK club based in North East Derbyshire playing in the Bassetlaw and District Cricket League, Championship division (top). We are ideally situated between three counties (Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire) to explore the rest of the UK and you are not far from the Peak District National Park.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to be a part of our club and play a leading role in our first team. It is a great opportunity for someone to come over and experience cricket in England amongst a club that are friendly and social. The players always stop for a few beers after training and games. There is always something going off around the club during the week with junior games and training. We are also able to offer you accommodation within the village and some work.
In the past the overseas have used the club as a base to explore the UK and Europe whilst making new friends and memories. We can provide references of previous overseas.
Our club and 1st XI have a great culture and are a pretty social group so somebody who thrives in that environment would be ideal.
