Trowbridge Cricket Club are an ECB focus club playing in the West of England Premier League based in the South West of England, close to the historic city of Bath.
As a heavily family orientated club, we are looking to bring over a talented batsman/all-rounder/bowler interested in not only playing a season in the UK but also wanting to get involved with all aspects of the club. As a strong 1st XI playing in the West of England ECB Premier League, we are seeking a talented player with experience of playing a high standard of cricket.
We are located in a great base for travelling across the UK, with the city of Bath just a short 15 minute train journey away and the likes of London/Bristol/Cardiff/Birmingham within easy reach. It would be the perfect opportunity for a young player looking for a summer travelling in the UK whilst playing cricket at an ECB Premier League level for a highly competitive team expected to challenge for the league title.
Accommodation and a job (either behind the club bar, ground work or external source) will be included, and a contribution towards flights could be negotiable depending on player experience. There is also ample opportunity to provide coaching to both our thriving junior section, and senior players, as an additional source of income.
We also have strong links with the highly reputable cricket brand, Neon Cricket, who have opportunities available for the overseas player to get involved with the brand during the season - previous examples include our 2022 overseas bowling to Ian Bell during a Cricket District content video, and our 2023 overseas working with the brand over the course of the summer.
