We are a village based club from the heart of Lancashire, playing in the Palace Shield Competition. Currently we have two senior teams, in divisions one and five, and have a small but developing junior section.
The ground is in a picturesque rural location, and although we have been here over 100 years we have always looked to develop our facilities- with our most recent investment being two new net lanes (plus a bowling machine) a little over two years ago.
As you may see from the image we also have tennis courts as we are part of Withnell Fold Sports and Social Club; so there is also a small clubhouse with a bar, and we have other activities happening weekly such as Pilates and Yoga.
As a cricket section we are keen to develop and this is the reason we are investigating the possibility of engaging an Overseas Amateur. Generally speaking we have greater strength in our bowling department so in an ideal situation we would be looking to strengthen our batting.
