Torrisholme

Playing in Div 1A of the Palace Shield aiming to gain promotion in the 2020 season in to the Premier Division which we were sadly relegated from in the 2018 season. Stability has followed this season and our aspirations are definitely to push for promotion next year back into the Premier Division and on from that with the very strong junior section we have aged 16-19 look to push for the Northern League within the next 5 years, the highest level of club cricket in the County. We have 2 senior teams, a Sunday development XI, age group teams for boys at U19, U16, U13 and U11 levels. And we have corresponding girls teams at junior levels up to U16. Socially the club is very well supported by parents and spectators, has a very sound infrastructure at committee and coaching levels. We desperately need a strike opening bowler for next year and are seeking someone who would view a season of English cricket as something they would enjoy as part of spending time in the UK. The club would offer help with accommodation with a member of the club to ease the financial burden and would more than welcome their involvement with the coaching side of the junior teams and avenues to be involved with as much of the social and playing side of the club as they wanted.
