About the club:

Founded in 1919 Pott Shrigley CC are a club based in the village of Pott Shrigley in the scenic Cheshire country side 18 miles south of Manchester City Centre. Pott (as they are known to locals) play in the competitive village Derbyshire & Cheshire Cricket League which they joined in 2018 achieving a lower middle table finish in division 3 in their 1st season. For the 2019 season Pott employed Kiwi native Jim Cotterell as training night coach who was the full time coach at Cheadle Cricket Club in the Cheshire Premier Division. With hard work and Jims help Pott gained promotion to division 2 as runners up in 2019. Pott are without doubt a team on the up and want to capitalise on a strong 2019 season by looking to attract an overseas player/coach for the 2020 season running from mid-April to mid-September.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally we’re looking for qualified coach who can also play for our 1st team on Saturdays. Improving us both on game days and at training by organising and running senior & junior practice nights. Preferably a seam up bowler who can bat in the middle order.

What we can offer:

- A whole house accommodation in Stockport (8 miles north between Pott & Manchester where several of the Pott players live)
- Paid Coaching Work
- Alternative Work Part Time (20 hours per week.)
