We are searching for an overseas second team cricketer for the 2022 season! Work and accommodation will be provided and regular coaching of junior teams will be required. Suitable for a young, developing cricketer seeking an opportunity to play abroad. UK passport preferred.

Established in 1856, the club are founder members of the Liverpool & District Cricket Competition. This is an ECB Premier League which is the highest standard of club cricket in the UK. The club operates four teams on a Saturday and one team on a Sunday, providing cricket for all abilities.

Our Saturday teams all play in the Love Lane L&DCC with our 1st XI being in the ECB Premier League. Our 2nd XI is in the 2nd XI Premier Division, our 3rd XI plays in the 3rd XI (Saturday) Premier Division and our 4th XI on the 3rd XI (Saturday) First Division). Our 1st & 2nd XI's both play at our main ground, Rake Lane, Wallasey CH45 5DE with our 3rd & 4th XI's both playing at our Wayfarers ground, Upton Road, Bidston, Birkenhead CH43 7QE. We also run a Sunday 3rd XI that plays at our main Rake Lane ground in the Love Lane L&DCC, 3rd XI (Sunday) First Division (South).

Our senior teams play in various cup competitions with our 1st XI playing in the Royal London Club Championship & the Vitality Club T20 national cup competitions and also the Cheshire Cup. Our 1st, 2nd & 3rd XI’s all play in their relative Love Lane L&DCC cup competitions as do our Under 16’s & Under 21’s XI’s. Our Under 19’s XI plays in the Vitality Club U19 T20 national cup competition.

Our thriving Junior Section provides structured coaching. We employ a full time coach to ensure our juniors can reach their potential and enjoy their cricket in a safe and professional environment. We run a team in each age group from Under 9's to Under 17's, playing in various leagues and cups. We are also committed to ladies and girls playing cricket.
