The Epping Bulls Cricket Club was established in 1933 and was previously known as Epping District Cricket Club.

The Bulls currently participate in the Sydney Shires Cricket Competition through grades 1-4. The club also represents an Under 24's side in the Frank Gray Shield competition and 5th grade in the Tim Creer Cup, named after the club's patron and life member, Tim Creer.

Epping plays in the Sydney Shires Competition and has a rich and proud history. In more recent times, we have made the finals consistently in all grades. Epping had a successful 2018/19 season finishing 5th in the club championship. This was coming off our extremely successful 2017/18 season where we finished 2nd in the club championship. Last season, 1st grade missed out on the finals by 5 points, whilst 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade all played finals cricket. Epping’s top priority every season is to win the club championship. To finish fifth and second in the past two seasons shows we’re on the right track and are determined to do what is necessary to achieve our main objective.

A number of overseas players have represented Epping. Former Australian fast bowler and Surrey CC coach and manager Dave Gilbert played for Epping between 1976-1980 as did former Australian off-spinner Gavin Robertson. In the 2008/09 season, former England international, Lancashire and Surrey County cricketer Chris Schofield was a part of our first grade side. Chris had played in the T20 World Cup the year before. More recently we’ve had players from Littleborough CC and Warley CC. In season 2017/18 we had a leg spinner from Shrewsbury CC who played first grade. Last season we selected a Canadian batsman with international experience who played first grade and was selected in the Sydney Shires team of the year and a wicketkeeper from Kimbolton CC who played second grade. At Epping we treat our overseas players like family. We adopt them into our cricketing and social culture, which we are renowned for throughout the competition. Our overseas players enjoy the opportunity test their abilities in a new environment, playing a high level cricket to further their cricket development.

At Epping you will benefit from playing high quality cricket, be a part of a united club: an ambitious, talented playing group with whom you will enjoy an inclusive social life over the summer. We certainly believe that your cricket goals can be achieved at Epping and we hope you will join our club and spend the summer in Sydney.
