Boxmoor Cricket Club are looking for additional playing members to integrate into the Boxmoor setup and help drive the club even further.

We have a fantastic playing setup including 3 Saturday league teams, over 100 junior members including an all girls side, which is one of only a few in the county, and 2 Sunday teams. Off the field there is a purpose built clubhouse with a bar making it the perfect place to socialize throughout the summer too.

Our 1st XI finished as league champions in 2019 after winning 16 of their 17 matches which saw them promoted to division 5B - With an average age of 23, they are a very ambitious group who are looking to further develop cricket at Boxmoor and have plans for further promotions in the next few years.

Our 2nd XI finished in the top 3 of division 9B for the last 3 years but narrowly missed out on promotion each time. They are a well balanced team who are keen to enjoy the game whilst also playing some very competitive cricket. The 2nd team usually features up and coming juniors as well as those on their way back down from the 1s so is the ideal place to get some game time in.

The 3rd XI play a more relaxed style of cricket in division 10B. The setup regularly features many of our colts who are looking for their first introduction into league cricket along with some of the elder members of the club. It's a great place for those first setting out in league cricket or making a return to the game.

Boxmoor Cricket Club is a long established "village club" in the town of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. In 2017 the club celebrated its 160th anniversary, having played all of its cricket at its current ground "The Oval", St Johns Road, Boxmoor.

Boxmoor Cricket Club aims to provide safe, fair, and enjoyable cricket for its members, young and old. The club hopes to provide an environment fit for the local community, in which players and social members can develop their cricketing skills, knowledge and friendships.

The club currently has a playing membership of over 70 adults and fields three teams in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League on Saturdays. On Sundays it fields two sides, with the 1st XI playing in friendly games across the Home Counties and the 2nd XI acting as a development side to introduce our juniors to senior cricket.
